Project Hospice Nepal is a Rotary led project with joint fundraising campaigns outside of Nepal, based in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Those involved come from across the globe spanning a variety of backgrounds with strong medical influence from both the commercial and voluntary sector.
With the current demand for palliative care in Nepal outstripping the capacity of the eight-bed hospice, there is urgent need to expand Hospice Nepal to a capacity of 20-24 beds for both adults and children together with the provision for health care training and the expansion of the current outreach programmes into rural areas.
